Several Companies are marketing vibration absorption feet made of sorbothane or similar material. We have replaced our sorbothane feet with ones composed of a new material. We learned of a material developed by an aerospace vendor. This material was developed because of a serious problem encountered in commercial aircraft. Specifically, continuous vibrations of the craft cause abrasion and failure of electrical wires. This new material is being used in aircraft wire harness clamps that hold wire in place. It has an extraordinary capacity to deaden vibrations when used in our Vibra-killers feet. Its improved. Customers are putting it up against the most touted competing product and are reporting back that ours is significantly better.

While the material is, of course, important, the shape of the feet and the design of the retention device is also very important. Ours are unique in this respect and we believe they are very effective. Their shape and design of the bottom retainer tray also enables them to self-adjust their rigidity for varying weights. This is why they can be used for components as light as CD players, turntables, and amplifiers weighing as much as 48 pounds (set of four feet). Each foot supports up to 12 pounds. There is no need to permanently attach the feet to your components. Simply place the component on top of the feet. These heavy duty cones (1 3/16" tall, including support discs) do a great job of coupling and energy transfer. Some competitors contend that the shape of their cones make them more effective in coupling of energy transfer. We believe this to be hype! Any cone regardless of if their shape is a straight sided cone or a curving sided cone, or any other shape, the energy transfer is accomplished at the contact point of the cone. We have made countless tests with competitive cones to confirm this. None are any more effective than ours.

Yes, we too have a coating treatment for CDs to obtain improved fidelity. Our treatment (as does that of others) fills microscopic pores of the surface of the CD. This permits a more direct transmission of the laser beam through the CD. Ours, however, also eliminates static electricty build up that attracts dust and dirt. We have ensured that this product is safe to use on surfaces through continuous testing since 1992. Ours has a harmless, neutral ph of 7. A ph of 7 means that the substance measured is neither acidic or caustic. Either of these conditions will, over time, damage your collection of discs. We have measured some others that measure as low as 5 which is too acidic to trust. We are offering this safe product simply because it provides such significant improvement in fidelity. The two ounces are enough to treat several hundred CDs.

Green Line

CD Enhancement
Green coloring on the edges of a CD disk does improve the sound quality of the disk, but why? Probably no one knows for certain, but the theory that the green material absorbs stray and refracted rays of the laser beam is as likely a theory as any. Whatever the true phenomenon, we have found that the effectiveness of the treatment is related not to the actual material of the dye or ink, but rather to its surface texture and to how closely the wave length of the green is to the complement of the 790 NM laser beam. A simpler example is the relationship of a blue wave length that is the exact complement to a wave length of yellow. The blue and yellow will cancel each other out and what remains is black. Black is the absence of color. Our Green Line is formulated to match as closely as possible the required wave length.

’Have received the package of SCIs and incorporated into system. I already had the ls cable on smaller, wooden knobs to elevate and found beneficial. But, the SCIs have proven something else!
