The block arrived this
morning as scheduled. Thanks once again for the prompt and efficient
service. The construction/build/finish of the
block, like the leads, is very impressive! It has already had a
very positive initial effect on my system, so I look forward to
hearing how it develops as it burns in...

First off, let me say that these Cables represent
one of the best value-for-money upgrades I have ever made for my
system. Their effect is not limited to any one specific area; instead,
they make a substantial improvement to everything! In particular,
they
dramatically lower the noise floor entering your Hifi system. This
fact is only noticeable in its absence: suddenly a wealth of never-before-heard
detail emerges, and small background details that are normally lost
emerge.
Moving on, transients are much crisper, with much more attack and
authority; percussion becomes much more crystalline, with realistic
decay. Bass becomes much deeper and more precise, whilst the midrange
becomes far more natural and less edgy.
All of which is fantastic. But it isn't the crowning achievement.
What is singularly brilliant about these Cables is the massive effect
they have on dynamic range. With them in place, the effect on my
system is that it can rise effortlessly from a mere whisper to a
thunderous cacophony; where notes previously just stopped dead on
a
piano, they now gently decay away, enabling you to hear the realistic
resonance of the instrument. Consequently, everything becomes much
more realistic, more full of tonal colour, and the ebb-and-flow,
the dynamics of the music, improve massively.
I struggle to find much in the way of flaws
with these power Cables. They're almost completely neutral. They
don't seem to add any colouration, and instead just allow your Hifi
components to perform at a far higher level. Whilst, inevitably,
their overall effect
will be more dramatic the better your system is, the point is that
for a good system, they represent what I would consider to be an
essential upgrade. They're not an accessory; they're a fundamental
component!
Excellent.
